Park opposite along the roadside (free if you can find a place) and launch from the slipway.
There is another slipway up the road at the opposite end of the beach by the carpark however rocks do make it an issue to launch.
This slipway offers easy access to the sea.
This area is ideal for kayak fishing, general paddling and touring if you plan on going far.

Paignton, Torbay, UK

Ample parking here and feet to the water makes this an ideal location to launch either for a days costal paddle or general kayaking.
On a spring tide or when the wind and swell is right, this makes for good surf, not quite newquay but very good to gain experince, very popular with paddlers, surfers and paddle boarders when the waves are right!

2 places to park, ether in Young Parks Road (free) or in quaywest (seasonal charges).
Water here is very much like Paignton, exposed and would depend on the weather and sea state.
Popular among surf kayakers on a spring tide and also popular with touring kayakers doing a bit of beach hopping to either Broadsands or Paignton for lunch.

A brilliant end to the day trip along a beautiful peice of coastline.
Put in at Broadsands and take out at Brixham marina.

Paddle Point
Brixham, Torbay, UK

A brilliant launch point as you have the breakwater car park only feet away.
Also a good place to take out from a trip from Broadsands.
Paddling inside the marina is also nice, flat and good if your getting used to a new boat or breaking in new gear.
Note: do not land or launch on the nearby RNLI slipway for obvious reasons
