Canoeing and Kayaking on : River Braan

Paddle Point

Park in the layby opposite the hotel and walk down to under the bridge. From here there is a flat paddle to the start of the longest section of continuous whitewater in Scotland. About 2km of grade 3 paddling, none of it needing inspecting is super fun. After this is a grade 1-2 float to the start of the middle section. Depending on the level this will be grade 3-4 and some parts may need looked at. Take out at a layby about half a mile above rumbling bridge.
