Paddle Point

Get in point for a Gd1 wander through the fields. Nothing hard but a few quicker sections and a minor rapid in Kinbuck. Only risk is getting stuck in the mud!

Egress for the upper section or alternative get in for the lower, but not much between here and Ashfield.

Get in for the classic grade 4 spate run to Bridge of Allan. Best done at higher levels. Please park considerately in Ashfield. Carry up old railway line past bust stop to river.

Big sloping weir. Slide sideways to bounce into fish ladder. Followwed by Gd4 ledge.

Broken weir which runs almost anywhere but can form a bit of a stopper.

River wide steep weir with vicious towback. Can be inspected from footpaths in town beforehand. Usual line is hard river left.

Normal get out point, park on the bridge.
It is possible to paddle the weir but probably not that pleasant.
