Launched at Newenden and had a great trip up to Bodiam Castle. You can just pull in and get out and have a look around if you wish.

A low wooden stage next to the Light railway cafe. on street parking on the A259 military road just east of the put in.

Note, the canal between seabrook and the west hythe dam is administered by Shepway District council and a seperate canoe permit is required - Bcu not valid.

This landing stage is now derelict and blocked off land side pending repair. Go through under the road bridge and find a wooden slip on North bank a few meters further, with easy parking on A259 adjacent.
This has now been repaired and refurbished, and is again available for use.

Please park considerately on Lossenham Lane, near the playground, making sure not to impede residents.

Residents parking sign all over Lossenham Lane. Park at Boat hire place for a fiver. New decking area recently put up at waters edge.

Be aware that the EA guy who lives in the house on the south side of the sluice may come over with dire tales about canoeists using the slipway and getting dragged into the automatic sluice gates and how he's fed up with having to pull the bodies out. Happy fellow.
