Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK

Leeds is one of the premier canoe clubs in the Yorkshire region. The club was first established in 1947 and was the first to be set up in West Yorkshire. We are an extremely active club, with pool sessions, river sessions and river trips running every week throughout the year. Our main speciality is white water kayaking, but we also regularly participate in Canoe Polo, Kayak Surfing, Slalom, Play Boating, and Canadian/Touring

The marker shows our clubhouse location. it is within the grounds of the Leeds Rugby Academy. Our river sessions take place here. Our pool sessions take place at Armley Leisure Centre

This is the get in (just below a stopper) for the Aire wave (roughly hundred metres down river), at its best when the the Fleet Weir guage is reading about 0.85 - so needs quite a bit of rainfall. inspect first as if it gets too high its just a river wide stopper
