Canoeing and Kayaking on : River Tavy

Paddle Point

Above the dam is an extensive nature reserve marking the end of the river Tavy, which is tidal below the dam. There is a roadway across the river beneath the dam, but it is submerged at high tide. There are stepping stones, providing pedestrian fun. Car parking and limited tourist facilities close by. The aerial imagery may well be taken at high tide, and so concealing the extensive mud banks at low tide.
