Good access to the canal.

Boughton Road Brownsover Rugby

Small car park,good access to water,but maybe lots of narrow boats in peak season.Pub nearby and retail park too.




Oxford Canal bottom lock

Easy portage a little to the North, if you don't have a BWB lock key.

Napton - Bridge Inn

Put in from towpath/moorings next to the Bridge Inn.
The pub have been happy to leave cars here for several days, obviously having a pint afterwards.
Put in across the lawn diagonally from the pub car park, approx 150m easy portage/trolley.

Put in by bridge in Cropredy.

There are British Waterway loos and water here.

Shop opposite is very useful and well stocked for a village shop.

Jane's Tea Rooms

Legendary alfresco tea room by the canal. Jane is an eccentric but excellent host, and the cream teas are fabulous, everything is homemade. An experience not to be missed, but not open that often, just summer Sunday's I think.

A stone edged put in next to bridge 236, Limited parking at the Plough inn.


Good Entry point for the Oxford Canal at Allen Lock

Small car-park generally used by local walkers.

Lovely area.

Rock of Gibraltar Public House

Good Entry point for the Oxford Canal

Limited car parking area (used by fishermen / canal boat owners) across the small bridge, or park in front of the Rock of Gibraltar Public House (public lay by).

Useful start/end point when visiting Jane's Teas Rooms on the return paddle!
